Lynn Cowley joined Nockolds Solicitors Ltd in 1990 and was made a partner in 1997. Lynn is also a Director of Nockolds Lawyers Spain. Lynn currently heads the family team and the international team inthe UK. Before joining the firm, Lynn graduated from York University having read English and Politics and qualified as a solicitor in 1989 whilst working with Hertfordshire County Council. There she gained a post graduate diploma in local government law and practice.

Lynn works on a variety of contentious issues but mainly high value financial cases for divorcing couples. She is an accredited specialist of Resolution and a trained collaborative lawyer. In 2005 Lynn set up the international department which dealt with English clients who were living in Spain or had issues relating to Spain and Spanish clients who had issues in the UK. At the same time, Dalila Segador, Head of Official Translations, set up the sworn official translations division The international department has developed and is now headed by Javier Jurado who is duly qualified as an Abogado and a Solicitor. Whilst Javier and Dalila are based at Nockolds Solicitors UK, they are able to assist our team at Nockolds Lawyers Spain in Estepona.

Lynn was recommended in the latest legal edition of the Legal 500 as having notable experience in dealing with property and assets based in Spain (within separating couples) and also advises on cohabitation and pension issues. She was also quoted as having the ability to think outside the box when presented with unusual and difficult matters. She is recognised as a leader in the field for family law for London.

Lynn is fluent in spoken Spanish and has family links there. Whilst Lynn is not employed by Nockolds Lawyers Spain, in her capacity as Partner in the sister company she is able to assist where requested.
